My name is Natasha. I have a BA in Political Science and a MA in Business. I launched Na’Klectic Natural Hair Gallery in March of 2004. In 2007, we expanded to Na’Klectic Natural Hair Gallery and Spa. I am a natural hairstylist and loctician of eight years. I specialize in the maintenance and care of natural hair and locs. I have extensive product knowledge. I recognize products, herbs, and nutrition are key components in the maintenance of natural hair during my hair journey. My styles were featured in the Braids International and Braids Etc. I was featured as an educator and exhibited models for Ashea (a distinguished product line) for the Bronner Brothers Hair Convention in Baltimore in May, 2006 and in New Jersey. In 2001, I developed oil for the hair by fusing olive oil, essential oils, and shea butter.
Clients complained that manufactured oils did not replenish their hair, Herbalisitics was created for my customers. The oil is designed to restore moisture, renew, and provide a fresh scent to our natural hair. The oil can be used for the body, scalp, and hair. The natural ingredients include but are not limited to olive oil, shea butter, vitamin E, and essentials such as frankincense and coco-mango. In 2007, I created Na’Klectic News with the assistance of my virtual assistant Yamisi Daniel, owner of InTouch Virtual Assistance as the designer of the newsletter. Na’Klectic News is an electronic monthly newsletter exhibiting an African-American business, a product of the month, a black business directory and commentary about social issues and the African-American plight. In addition, we offer a monthly seminar every third Saturday discussing such topics as Holistic Health, Real Estate/Investing, mental health, and much more. I invite you to experience Na’Klectic. |
