Na'Klectic Natural Hair Gallery Policies

The stylists want to provide a quality, efficient service for clients. We are to hear serve and please you. Therefore, we have created these policies to reduce wait time for all clients.

I. Tardiness

The new policy for tardiness is as follows: The stylist and the client are given a fifteen (15) minute grace period. If the client is thirty minutes late, the client will be charged a $15.00 service charge and forfeit the appointment. In addition, if the stylist is thirty minutes late without calling or leaving a message, he/she will deduct $15.00 from the service. After the client is deemed thirty minutes late, it is at the discretion of the stylist to take your appointment. However, a $15.00 service charge will apply to that appointment.

II. Cancellations

The new policies for cancellations are as follows: Twenty-four (24) hour cancellation notice for all cancelled appointments is required. If a client cancels the same day, a $20.00 service fee is payable at the next appointment. The client for any unforeseen circumstances is unable to make that appointment and must cancel that same day; it is at the stylist discretion to waive the service fee.

III. Removal of Previous Styles

The new policy is that all styles including but not limited to: coil twists, double strand twists, braids, loc styles (braids and flat twists of locs) and kinky twists must be REMOVED prior to your appointment. The client can opt to keep the previous style in his/her hair. However, a service charge will apply to the removal of the style. The SERVICE CHARGE FOR REMOVAL OF PREVIOUS HAIR STYLES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Removal Fees:
Coils twists: $10.00-20.00
Cornrows: $15.00-$30.00
Double Strand Twists: $15.00-$40.00 (depends upon length)
Kinky Twists *Hairline only: $20.00 an hour
Kinky Twists *Full head: $40.00 an hour
Loc Styles: $10.00-$20.00

Please note that an appointment includes only: a shampoo, conditioner, and the new style. The removal of a previous style delays the stylist for your scheduled time slot and appointments preceding your appointment. PLEASE HAVE ALL HAIR STYLES REMOVED PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME. However, if the client’s scheduled appointment begins and the stylist has to wait for you to remove any style from your hair, a late fee will apply.

IV. Wait Time Fee

The fee for a stylist waiting for a client to remove a style from his or her hair (including but not limited to braids, coil twists, cornrows, double strand twists, and/or loc styles (braids or flat twists of locs). The fees are as follows:

The Wait Time Fee:
0-15 minutes: $10.00
16-29 minutes: $15.00
30 minutes and over: $20.00 and you forfeit your appointment

V. Deposits

Kinky Twists, natural weaves, and all extension braid styles require a $75.00 deposit to purchase hair and to secure the appointment. A deposit is required for extension services due to the length of time required for an appointment.

VI. No Show, No Call

Clients that does not call to cancel or does not show for their appointment will pay 50% OF THE APPOINTMENT at the next scheduled appointment. Kinky Twists clients that do not show or call will pay a $75.00 service fee that is payable at the next appointment. The stylist will no longer be able to provide services to the client after TWO incidents of no call, no show.

The stylists want to provide the client with the best possible service. Therefore, the stylists have changed our policies to serve you better. We strive to be prompt, efficient, and knowledgeable. We can only provide our services with your cooperation. We thank you for your and our time into consideration. Please remember that tardiness of one person delays ALL appointments preceding your scheduled appointment. Thank you for your continued support and patronage of our natural hair care business.
